High fructose syrup also known as fructose syrup, is generally a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid. It is a sweetener made from corn starch, cassava starch, inulin, or sucrose through a series of transformations and concentrations.
Mainly used in food, beverages, cold drinks, dairy products, healthcare products, home condiments and other food industries.
High fructose syrup is divided into F42 and F55, according to the Dextrose Equivalent.
